OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
As an integral member of the food and beverage team, your responsibility is to provide a consistent level of service excellence to the members and their guests, with an attentive approach and a positive attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide fast and efficient service in a friendly and professional manner.
- Stock all side stands according to function requirements.
- Make sure all tables are clean and properly set at all times.
- Complete all side duties related to the position as instructed.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
- Must maintain a clean and neatly pressed uniform suitable for the position as outlined in your employee handbook.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
O.S.S.D. completed or in the process of being completed. Smart Serve, as well as WHMIS.
EXPERIENCE:
Ideally a minimum 1 years experience is preferable, but training for the position is provided.
COMPETENCIES:
Must be able to relate in a teamwork environment with good interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in an organized work environment. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
An associated background in the Hospitality or food service industry would be beneficial. Knowledge of mixology, food service, menu items and presentation would be helpful.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND VISUAL DEMANDS:
- Fast paced environment can create stressful situations
- On your feet for long periods of time.
- Carrying heavy trays, and pushing and pulling food and beverage carts
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Heat generated from the kitchen, and food odors
